Sustainability at Deprest

At Deprest, we are committed to sustainable innovation and responsibility, both within our workshop and beyond. Our investments in solar energy, efficient waste management and future-oriented technologies form the foundation of our sustainable approach.

Our core values in sustainability

• Energy efficiency
  We optimise our energy consumption with sustainable installations such as solar panels and implement innovative, energy-saving solutions, including smart lighting.
• Durable and 100% recyclable products
  Many of our products are part of investment projects with an environmental purpose, such as sump tanks used at sea to collect waste streams.
  The products manufactured by Deprest are built for the long term: a stainless steel vessel can easily last more than a century. Some of our chocolate kettles have been in use for over 60 years and are still operational today.
  When our materials eventually reach the end of their service life, they retain their value: metals are 100% recyclable without any loss of quality. Residual materials from our production mainly consist of metal scrap, which is carefully sorted and fully recycled.
• Certified for quality and environmental responsibility
  Deprest is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 3834-2, and complies with the strictest standards for pressure vessels (PED, EN 13445, ASME). These certifications stand not only for quality but also for responsible production.
• Investing in a sustainable future
  We continue to invest in technology and infrastructure that increase efficiency and minimise waste.
• Employees as partners in sustainability
  Our employees also contribute actively to sustainability, for example through bicycle leasing plans, proper waste sorting and conscious use of energy.
