Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming more than 200 visitors to Deprest for our Open Workshop Day. The workshop was in full operation, with ongoing fabrication, active production and a fully engaged shop floor, exactly as it should be.
What stood out most for many visitors was not only the visible craftsmanship, but also the less visible side of our operations. The systems and structures behind each project play a key role in ensuring quality and efficiency.
A highlight for many guests was our in house developed Weld Manager. This software reads SolidWorks drawings directly and manages the entire process, from purchasing to production and quality follow up. It also handles all welding documentation and ensures full traceability of weld seams, including PQR, WPS and WPQ. Welding related follow up and NDT inspections are also integrated into the system.
This combination of hands on manufacturing and digital process control allows us to maintain consistent quality, project after project.
We would like to thank everyone who visited, asked insightful questions and shared their enthusiasm. It was a day to remember.
We are already looking forward to organizing this event again in the future.
