Pickling and passivating stainless steel and high-quality alloys.
Pickling and passivating is the most frequently specified post-treatment for pressure vessels, unpressurised stainless steel tanks and high-quality alloys. The quality of this post-treatment is very good; it cleans the surface layer of all residues deposited during production and reactivates this layer. Immediately after pickling, we apply a passivation product to accelerate the passivation process. The only disadvantage of this pickling process is that the result is less aesthetical, but for vessels and tanks quality is generally more important than aesthetical appearance.
Deprest has the following facility for pickling and passivating:
- a spacious and fully equipped workshop for spray pickling -
- a 20 x 12 m workshop equipped with collectors and pump systems for collecting the waste water;
- fitted with 2 overhead cranes with hoists;
- a small immersion pickling installation.
Deprest also carries out pickling jobs for third parties.
