Steel pressure vessel Horizontal pressure vessels Varnished pressure vessel Transport pressure vessel Pressure vessel with heating coil

Elsewhere on the website you have read that a vessel, boiler or tank becomes a device or pressure vessel and falls within the PED regulations starting at a pressure of 0.5 bar.

Up to 0.5 bar there are actually few requirements; above this limit, one needs to conform and follow very different procedures, and various calculations and inspections must be taken into consideration. In addition to pressure, parameters such as the medium used, temperature, volume and the specified draft Code also play a role.

The various calculations and risk analyses can be performed by Deprest. One of the issues determined during these calculations is wall thicknesses. Of course the same calculation methods and programmes can be used for the determination of wall thickness of unpressurised storage tanks.

Designing and manufacturing pressure vessels involves a lot of knowledge and know-how. Both on a theoretical level (calculations, technical knowledge) and on a practical level (the knowledge of the employees on the floor, welding knowledge). Since Deprest has been manufacturing pressure vessels for years, it obviously has the necessary know-how.

We naturally give you full support here in terms of design and calculations.

Examples of pressure vessels we can offer:

  • Of course the classic reactors, process vessels and equipment, both for industry, chemicals, food and pharmaceuticals.
  • Chocolate tanks, double-walled boilers,
  • compressed air vessels, equilibrium bottles,...
  • Separator, condenser, adsorber, extractor, crystalliser, statoliser, deodoriser
  • ...

Deprest guarantees high quality.
