Deprest holds an extensive stock of thick steel plate, both boiler steel and stainless steel. We also stock tubing and end caps. Of course, these can be supplied with or without fusion edges. Sheet sizes up to 12 x 4 metres
Plasma table 12x4 m
The plasma table, which has been operational since March 2013, has the following characteristics:
- Cutting surface: 12x4 m for sheet, cutting thickness up to 120 mm of which 50 mm without infeed
- source Kjellberg 440A type hiFocus 440 i
- cutting of tubes up till diam 700 mm
- cutting of dished head up to diameters of 4000 mm
- equipped with endless rotating 3D head
- oblique cutting edges / welding preparation up to 50°
- gantry is driven by a precision linear guide system
