Submerged arc welding
The submerged arc welding (SAW) installation is also referred to as 'welding column' for short
This welding crane has been operational since 2013 and has the following features:
- submerged arc welding (SAW) up to 1000A, both AC and DC
- semi-automatic welding (MIG, pulsed MIG, Pulse-on-Pulse, Power Mode, Rapid Arc, STT) up to 500A
- maximum diameter 5500 mm, length 24000 mm, up to 50 tons
- equipped with a 360° rotating boom
- equipped with camera and 2D tracking system
- later equipped with 15-ton turntable, 2 sets of self-aligning welding rotators up to 25 ton/set.
- as a result, this welding column can weld both horizontally and vertically. Everything is controlled via a central PLC with logging options.
- also supply/welding for third parties.
