Pressureless tanks

Storage tanks, boilers, chocolate tanks and pressure vessels, including agitators and accessories...

All this up to a diameter of 9000 mm, a length of 50 metres and up to 85 tons. Now equipped with a brand new infrastructure, we have sufficient capability in terms of machinery to manufacture projects of this scope in-house (plate rolling, dished head plasma cutting). Obviously, these are the maximum capacity projects, but as you can see from the pictures, we also make a lot of smaller vessels and we also carry out repairs.

The welding techniques available to Deprest lend themselves perfectly to building pressureless or atmospheric tanks. The plasma keyhole installations (including one with clamping bench) are perfect for welding thin-walled tanks up to 8 mm. A plasma keyhole gives a perfect weld-through at a speed not achievable with manual welding, both for longitudinal and circumferential seams.

In addition, Deprest also has an underpowder deck installation and a MIG/MAG welding tap for other boiler applications.

Note: from the moment the design pressure exceeds 0.5 bar, a boiler becomes a 'pressure vessel' and must comply with strict PED regulations on this within Europe.
