Tanks to API standard

Deprest has the capability to manufacture tanks according to API 650, a US standard set by the "American Petroleum Institute". This particular standard describes the design, manufacture and inspection of welded steel tanks for the storage of oil-like products. Typically, these are atmospheric tanks with a flat bottom and a roof. Different types of roofs are possible, either fixed or floating which rest on the product.

Internally, heating elements such as coils can be fitted, as well as agitators, especially for heavy unrefined oil products. Deprest makes these tanks in its own workshop with a diameter capacity of up to 6 m.
